Balance chairs, the brand new products of BUM design collection, have reached the contract certification passing the hardest test of European and American laws.

The "Sapiens" bookshelf, for many years a mainstay of the Sintesi product line, is among the protagonists of the blockbuster MARLEY & ME appearing at cinemas at the moment.

Some of the scenes, shot in an American interior, feature two Sapiens bookshelves, designed by Bruno Rainaldi.

Excellent placement for a product which is much loved by both magazines and consumers.

At the Salone del Mobile 2009 a LIGHT version of the bookshelf will be presented, incorporating illumination to furnish with glamour a corner of a lounge area, a study or a bedroom!

Once again, SINTESI’s products enjoy TV success after BABA’s participation in the “Invasioni Barbariche” show, on LA7 channel; the Group’s products are also currently featured on Canale 5, on the set of “SCHERZI A PARTE” (where the BBB’s SMILE armchair makes a spectacular effect ), and on RAI’s sports shows ( NOAH chairs ) and UNOMATTINA ( Bubble ).

A few days ago, the company obtained  certification of its quality management system.

Satisfying the standard UNI EN ISO 9001:2008, it ensures that all processes are aimed at improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization in addition to customer satisfaction.

The certification also guarantees the control of the production process and its effectiveness.

With a view to continuous improvement, the Group has initiated the proceedings to meet the terms of the UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 management system to monitor the environmental impacts of its activities and to verify their improvement in a coherent, effective and above all sustainable manner.
