BBB and Sintesi in IMM Cologne - January 14-20

BBB returns to the exhibition in Cologne presenting to the German and international markets several new products through a setup that is coordinated with the catalogue image.
There is great enthusiasm for the new edition of the folding chair Tric, designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in the ’60s and now presented in its new plastic version. Tric has been selected among five finalists (over a pool of 400 companies) for the Classic Innovation category of the Interior Innovation Award 2008 contest organized by the fair.

Sintesi makes its debut at IMM: after the positive response obtained with the event organized in 2007 in Cologne, the brand has participated for the first time to the fair with a setup managed by the architect Bruno Rainaldi, who was able to capture the attention of the visitors, confirming through the customers the success of the last collection and the new image of Sintesi.

DMK at MACEF – Milan, January 18-21

The new DMK collection of porcelains, glasses, and lamps designed by Marta Giardini has been presented with success at the Milan fair. The stand setup has been designed by the architect Bruno Rainaldi who has taken the occasion to display products of the Sintesi brand, too.

DMK at Maison&Objet – Paris, January 25-29

A great public and media success for the new DMK collection presented at the Parisian event. Black and white porcelains, lamps, and glasses have been displayed on two large carbonized wooden tables following the setup of the architect Bruno Rainaldi.
DMK has been on the forefront also at the Forum des Tendences 2008: the famous French stylist François Bernard has chosen the Aqua Wine Light glasses and the You are so Beautiful place mats for the installation Presque là through which Bernard proposes his interpretation of the trends in design.

BUM at the Office Exhibition - Dubai, February 4-6

This was the first fair of the year for BUM, which participated at the Dubai event with a setup designed by Giovanni Giacobone. The brand has been presented with a new “total white” graphics image with chairs and tables ranging from black to white. Some Sintesi products have also been displayed.

BBB at OFITEC - Madrid, February 26-29

The Smile armchairs and the Pick Chair chairs of BBB have been presented at the OFITEC fair of Madrid by the Spanish client GRUPO KAT.

Gruppo Sintesi with the BBB, Cabas, Montina, Sintesi and DMK brands, in its role of main sponsor, has contributed to carry out the exhibition/event Plus Hotel – A fascinating journey in ultimate hosting organized in occasion of the BIT fair – Milan, February 21-24.
Over 19,000 sq. ft. of space, completely furnished with our brands’ furniture, has been setup as a green space overlooked by the most prestigious hotels: a real high class neighborhood with a central plaza, animated by a busy schedule of events, and a lounge area.

DMK and Sintesi at NonSoloModa

DMK and Sintesi products have been the protagonists at NonSoloModa, the TV cult show of Mediaset Channel Canale 5.
Lapis, Swirl, Op’ Post, You are so Beautiful, Six Mix and Kobo have been recorded by the cameras for the report “Optical: art, fashion, design” that aired on January 26.

DMK for Dom Pérignon
The prestigious champagne brand has chosen the plates Twist and Taste and the bamboo chopsticks Tribacchette of DMK for a series of exclusive dinners that will be organized during the year 2008 in various cities throughout the world.

BUM’s art direction
The art direction of the BUM brand, which includes also the products of the ex Lineager brand, has been assigned to Giovanni Giacobone for the CMR Project, the largest Italian design studio.

New headquarter for Montina
Montina begins the year 2008 in the new headquarter located in Manzano, at via Alessandro Volta n. 1., with over 75,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing, offices, and show room space.

New catalogues DMK and CABAS
The new DMK catalogue is now available. It features all the latest products presented in the past months and joins the other five.
A new catalogue is also available for CABAS. The graphics project has been carried out by the Roberto Duse studio, with an introduction edited by Angelo Speranza from Catas.

BBB at Filipucci Arredamenti - Rimini, December 15 2007

Filipucci Arredamenti, the historical store which boasts a thirty years old relationship of trust and respect with BBB, has dedicated to our brand the entire first floor of the seventeenth century building that hosts the exhibition.
A Christmas tree made of Tric chairs has been designed for the inauguration. The setup has been managed by Massimo Colombo.

Galvanotecnica for the concept store of Arthur Bonnet - Nantes, January 28 2008

This was an event on a grand scale for the inauguration of Arthur Bonnet’s new concept store and brand's convention.
Galvanotecnica has proposed a series of chairs and tables that have won significant interest for their excellent design/quality/price ratio.
The guests who attended the event have also received a DMK Tribacchetta as a free giveaway.

Sì Store La Croisette – Turin, February 4 2008

The new Sì Store La Croisette has opened in Turin, in cooperation with Sintesi, Galvanotecnica and DMK. An elegant and multipurpose location, completely furnished with our products, where the clientele can both stop by for a coffee or an appetizer, and have the opportunity to purchase the furniture and the accessories of our brands.
