The Nseries Design Award, a new international contest for interior design and accessories organized by Nokia Trends Lab, will be introduced at Salone Internazionale del Mobile.
Nokia has chosen Gruppo Sintesi to manufacture and distribute the creations of the five winners that will be selected by the jury.
Starting next year, the contest Contemporanee forme di intelligenza promoted by Gruppo Sintesi will merge with the NSeries Design Awards giving life to a single contest dedicated to talented young designers from all over the world.

The Permanent Observatory of Design has selected Sintesi’s chair Venezia, designed by Paolo Favaretto, for the prestigious volume ADI Design Index 2007.
This volume concludes the collection of excellence 2005-2007 and will be entrusted to the international jury for the appointment of the XXI ADI Prize, the Compasso d'Oro, hosted by the City of Turin 2008 World Design Capital.

DMK’s Black Brush bowls and Galà plates have been chosen to fit out the exhibition  NonSoloAlimentari managed by Paola Navone for the fair "Taste – a trip within the varieties of flavors" (Florence, March 15-17) organized by Pitti Immagine.

Ixina, the largest European franchise chain for the sale of kitchens, arrives in Italy. The national headquarter and the showroom of the company, part of Gruppo Snaidero, have opened in Bari on March 15. It is forecast that within the next 8 years additional 82 sales outlet will open in our country. Gruppo Sintesi will supply to Ixina, in exclusive, Sintesi and Galvanotecnica tables and chairs in addition to the DMK accessories.

The Cabas and DMK products have been displayed at the Oltremare exhibition, which was organized for the first edition of the Design on Board, a fair entirely dedicated to the nautical market that took place in Bologna from March 12 to March 15.

Gruppo Sintesi, through the Galvanotecnica brand, has officially become partner of Arthur Bonnet, the famous French kitchens’ company that is part of Gruppo Snaidero.

Also the 2008 edition of Le invasioni Barbariche TV program, which airs every Friday on italian channel LA7, will see host Daria Bignardi and her guests comfortably sitting on the Baba chairs designed for Sintesi by Adriano Tolomei.
